Description

The procurement aims to contract the services of preliminary design and assistance for the call for tender, the design and construction of the retrofit of the Ispra site tri-generation plant. The Ispra site cogeneration plant (ISCP) was built during the years 2000–2003 and put into operation in September 2004. The 4 engines of the current ISCP are close to reaching the end of their life cycles. The plant is expected to operate effectively until 2020 upon accomplishment of a major maintenance programme to be completed by the end of 2017. This is why a major retrofit of the plant is required.
