BIM wishes to invite tenders for the provision of managed services to provide Business Succession Planning support to BIM and the Irish seafood sector. Business succession planning is crucial for seafood businesses to maintain operational continuity and stability. Given the unique challenges faced by the seafood industry—such as fluctuating market demands, regulatory changes, and environmental pressures—a well-prepared succession plan ensures that the business can adapt and thrive during leadership transitions. By prioritizing succession planning, seafood companies can better navigate the complexities of the industry and secure their long-term success. The primary purpose of this tender is to deliver comprehensive Business Succession Planning Advisory support tailored to the needs of the Irish seafood sector. This tender encompasses the delivery of financial insights reports, organizing a national conference, and providing one-to-one support for companies. BIM will host a national conference in 2025, potentially followed by a second smaller conference in 2026/2027, on Business Succession Planning, tailored specifically for the Irish seafood industry. By facilitating discussions on strategic collaborations, the conference aims to empower industry players with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve greater market power and sustainability.
