Mathematics Teacher Continuing Professional Development from Reception – A-level

THIS IS AN INVITATION TO A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT. The Department for Education is holding a pre-market engagement event at 16:00 on 12 August 2026, via Teams, to present it’s vision for the following Mathematics teacher professional development contracts: • National Centre of Excellence for the Teaching in Mathematics (NCETM), delivered in partnership with Maths Hubs, and • Advanced Maths Support Programme (AMSP) The Department would encourage the attendance of interested suppliers, or consortia, at the market engagement event. The purpose of the event is to set out current plans for the future procurement to seek feedback from the sector and potential suppliers in order to help inform delivery options. During our pre-market event we will share more detail for prospective bidders on the following topics: 1. The purpose of the contracts 2. Scope 3. Digital needs 4. Timeline We are keen to speak to as many organisations as possible, and therefore we will be limiting attendance at the online event to two representatives per organisation. In order to help further inform the options available for the delivery of the Maths Programmes attendees may submit questions via Jaggaer following the event. For information: Attendance at the market engagement event is not a pre-requisite for being able to submit a tender against this opportunity. If you are unable to attend the market engagement event, the slides and Q&A outcomes, where appropriate, will be made available to all that register interest in this procurement opportunity.
