Description

In connection with the construction of Nye Munch [the New Munch Museum], a contract was signed with Mil Sec AS (M014) after a prior competition, for the development and delivery of doors to the New Munch Museum The contract was transferred to the contractor Hent AS. The delivery of the doors is significantly delayed. In the meantime, Mil Sec AS and their subcontractors (companies in the same group) are bankrupt. Most of the doors have been delivered and implemented; 111 doors, but there are still approx. 18 doors missing, and approximately half of these have already been developed and manufactured. It is therefore desirable and necessary for the project to sign contract with businesses that have purchased the rights/materials from the bankrupt estate: for a total value estimated to be approx. NOK 6 million excluding VAT. It is desired to sign two contracts as follows: goods contract; purchase of 18 security doors with associated contractual obligations and service contract; assembly, completion and improvement of security doors. Oslo municipality c/o the Municipal Undertaking for Cultural and Sport Facilities Oslo KF, intends to sign contracts as follows: — goods contract; purchase of the 18 remaining security doors with associated contractual obligations for the New Munch Museum in Bjørvika, — service contract; assembly, completion and improvement of security doors. The reason for the coverage purchases is that the original supplier of the doors has gone bankrupt. The coverage purchase should be undertaken from those who have purchase goods/rights from the bankrupt estate. Service contract — assembly, completion and improvement of security doors; anticipate value up to approx. NOK 1.5 million.
