8009 Qualification System for General and Medical Specialists

Description

The CIE Group has ongoing requirements for general practitioner and specialist medical professionals throughout Ireland to provide services in relation to defending personal injuries claims in the Irish courts. This work includes performing physical examinations of claimants, preparation of standard and specialist medical reports, preparation of psychiatric and/or psychological assessments and reports, as well as rehabilitation, vocational and occupational assessments and reports where required. It may also require attendance at consultations with CIE’s legal advisers as well as attendance at court hearings in order to provide oral evidence which may be subject to cross-examination.
