Robert Le Kyng is a 2 form entry Primary School in Central Swindon. The School catering is currently provided as regeneration of meals which are prepared offsite, and the School wish to replace the regeneration provision with a full fresh cooked on site service. The School is aware this change of approach will require investment in the catering facilities and staff, therefore it is intended Bidders will provide, in their tender response, the solution for the kitchen equipment and fitting. The funding for the investment required will be provided by the Successful Bidder and will be depreciated on a flat line basis over the core contract period. It is the Schools expectation that the Successful Bidder shall be responsible for the operation of the catering function including employment and management of staff, supply of foodstuffs, consumables and light equipment and preparing and serving appropriate meals. The School will retain responsibility for payment of utilities and the operation and maintenance of core catering equipment and facilities.
