Description

The NCEA has identified the need for a national surveillance programme for groundwater dependent terrestrial ecosystems (GWDTE) that is supported by an appropriate sampling design and enables a robust assessment of England's environment using a national capital approach.   This project will support the implementation of the NCEA Groundwater Dependent Terrestrial Ecosystem (GWDTEs) network. The aim of this project is to undertake ecological surveys at 35 GWDTE sites between mid-May 2025 and early October 2025, with a final project completion date of 27th March 2026.
