Care Home Antiviral Prophylaxis Service in Wirral Place

Description

The vaccination against influenza is a key public health initiative to prevent harm from the virus on vulnerable groups including those who reside in Care Homes. There is an expectation that antiviral medication is considered both to treat vulnerable residents with influenza like illness and prophylactically where an influenza outbreak has been declared by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to Wirral patients. Lot 1: NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB intend to award a 1 year contract via Direct Award C to the incumbent provider to deliver the Care Home Antiviral Prophylaxis Service in Wirral. The contract will commence on the 1st October 2025 and expire on the 30th September 2026. The annual contract value is £8,657.83.
