Description

Construction of new 3 span bridge constructed of composite prestressed beams with in-situ concrete deck and associated approach roads. Demolition and removal of existing bridge. Lot 1: Construction of new 3 span bridge constructed of composite prestressed beams with in-situ concrete deck and associated approach roads. Overall Bridge Span 66.45m within an overall scheme length of 461m including layby, retaining walls and junction improvements. The Contract includes utility diversions. The works are across the tidal reach of the River Naver. The Contractor shall be responsible for the preparation, implementation, and supervision of an environmental management plan for the works. No in-river works are permitted between March and August inclusive. Demolition and removal of existing bridge. Additional information: The Works are anticipated to commence June 2024.
