213998 Furniture, fixtures, and equipment for Biri Primary School and Nursery

Description

Gjøvik Municipality extends an invitation with this contest for the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for Biri Primary School and Nursery in Biri. Lot 1: A new joint primary school will be constructed in Biri for pupils form Biristrand and Skrinhagen. The school must be dimensioned as a two-parallel school for 392 students. In addition a 6 department nursery is to be constructed on the ground floor. The wing nearest to the secondary school will house the administration, as well as work rooms, cloakrooms, meeting rooms, and personnel rooms for teachers and other employees. There will also be special rooms for music, food and health, art and crafts, science/nature subjects here, as well as rooms for special educational teaching, health nurses, and environment advisors. The wraparound care and canteen kitchen/catering kiosk are also located on the ground floor. Both buildings are close to Biri Secondary School, and are to be constructed in wood. Both the school and nursery will be constructed as a project (a turnkey contract). The project includes all constructional and technical professions, as well as fixed fixtures and the equipment included in the description. A covered ramp/walkway will also be constructed between the new school and the existing secondary school. Various work will be required here where it connects to the secondary school. The gross area of the primary school is approx. 6150 m2 (gross), this includes the technical rooms on the second floor and approx. 660 m2 of unheated area. The gross area of the nursery is approx. 2220 m2 (gross), this includes the technical rooms on the first floor and approx. 650 m2 of unheated area. Necessary improvements to roads and technical infrastructure into the area are also included in this contract. In addition a replacement area is to be developed to compensate for the area that the primary school and nursery will occupy. Snipptunet is to be upgraded in accordance with the outdoor plan/description, in addition outside areas for the secondary school are to be replaced in accordance with the outdoor plan/description. The contract for the actual building has a start-up in January 2022, with the expected completion at the end of November or the beginning of December 2023. The contracting authority's estimated volume for this procurement is NOK 2.5 million.
