Description
UKAEA are undertaking delivery of a remotely operated 6 degree of freedom Diamond Wire Saw, called the Machining Station (MS). A key subassembly is the Z-Frame which supports the Diamond wire saw and moves it in the vertical axis and also a horizontal rotate axis. The scope of this tender is to manufacture, assemble, test and deliver to UKAEA a complete Z-Frame, for integration into the remainder of the machining station.
