Swansea Bay City Region Carbon Offsetting Study

The authorities of Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, and Swansea are jointly seeking suitable qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a Carbon Offsetting study to determine what interventions will be required for the reduction of carbon post 2030. With each authority in the process of developing Local Area Energy Plans, the reduction in public body carbon will decrease however ultimately there is recognition that by 2030 each LA will potentially have a residual carbon footprint. This commission will seek to address the residual carbon footprint. This work is being commissioned by Carmarthenshire County Council on behalf of the partner authorities as part of the EARTh programme, funded through WEFO European Social Fund.
