Description

This procurement is being conducted by Knightstone Housing Group, which is the contracting authority. Knightstone Housing Group wishes to select firms for its legal services panel to provide legal services for all organisations within the Group under eight Lots. The number of providers on the panel will depend on the relative strength of the individual bids that we receive. We do not have a pre-determined quota for the number of firms on the panel, but expect 3 to 5 firms to be appointed for each Lot. Each firm can bid for one, some or all of the Lots subject to the outcomes of this Pre-Qualification stage of the procurement. The contracts are for 48 months, commencing 3.4.2017. The contracts may be extended by up to a further 2 years by mutual agreement. The closing deadline for the receipt of PQQ submissions is 10.00 hours on 21.11.2016. Tenders must be submitted via the Knightstone supplier portal as per the instructions in the pre-qualification instructions. Legal services in support of housing and property management (tenancy management responsibilities as a landlord, arrears actions, disrepair, managing agents in supported housing schemes and data protection issues). Legal services to support leasehold and homeownership management (all aspects of managing leaseholders and freeholders with a service/estate charge). Legal services in support of tenancy enforcement activities. Legal services in support of procurement and contractual arrangements (EU procurement, appointment of consultants, contract law, construction, energy and renewables). Legal services in support of private finance agreements (including the charging of assets). Legal services in support of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Legal services in support of governance, regulation and advice on governing documents. Legal Services in support of land and property transactions (land and property acquisitions and disposals, and plot sales including new build homebuy and planning law, stamp duty land tax).
