UÉ intends to establish a multi party framework agreement for the provision of Capital Works. UÉ currently has a building estate comprising of 10 commercial office buildings nationally, ranging in size from 250 square metres to 5,000 square metres. This portfolio is expected to grow substantially over the duration of this contract. The building portfolio will grow to include but not be limited to the following types of buildings: Additional Offices Depots and Stores Laboratories Training centres Welfare Facilities Residential Properties Ancillary Buildings to Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants Refer to the RFI document attached separately for a detailed scope listing. This PIN and the subsequent meetings (if required) are intended to create a forum of interaction to assist UÉ with research on the structure of the market and specialist competencies available in this area. The principal objective of this exercise is to receive feedback from the marketplace relating to UÉ’s business requirements. It is expected to bring a provider’s perspective to the fore prior to the commencement of a tender competition. The PIN expectations are: 1.Maximise compliance with EU and national procurement rules by achieving appropriate transparency, competition and fairness with regard to the award of this potential contract; 2.Establish the nature, structure and capacity of the market 3.Planned Meetings - UÉ may organise meetings in the coming months with interested parties. The venue and date(s) will be advised to respondents in due course. UÉ may select a cross section of companies based on their submissions and specialties. UÉ may invite up to 5 interested parties with proven experience in electric vehicle smart charging to present and show case their offering in a workshop in a UÉ office or alternatively a virtual session held over MS Teams.
