Preliminary Market Consultations for Contractor Designed 110 kV to 400 kV GIS Substations. This notice is issued to notify the market of the intention of the Contracting Entity to conduct preliminary market consultations. The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation process is to: Inform interested parties of ESB’s intentions to procure a framework(s) and/or contract(s) for the EPC delivery of GIS substations in the primary voltage ranges of 110 kV to 400 kV. These substations will also likely include 38 kV and/or MV GIS installations; Obtain a deeper understanding of market participants (vendors, implementers, prime contractors and advisors), their products and solutions, their implementation capabilities, as well as any existing or potential delivery partnerships that the market participant is involved with or has plans to be involved with; · Understand the market participants view on optimum procurement and contracting strategies across key parameters such as use of frameworks, qualification systems, multi-phase contracts and contractual terms and conditions. Economic Operators who wish to take part in this Preliminary Market Consultation process should submit a response as set out on the Information Memorandum document on www.etenders.gov.ie (CFT ID 4600194).
