Personal Assistant (PA) Workforce Pathway

Description

The aim of the Sheffield PA Workforce Pathway is to establish a sustainable workforce system that supports recruitment, development and retention of PAs through community-led recruitment infrastructure, peer outreach, promotion and network building grounded in lived experience, enabling people to self direct their care more effectively and with confidence. Health & Social Care aims to help people with identified needs to live safe, independent, and rewarding lives through integrated, local and personalised services and support. The department also has a responsibility to provide information and advice about social care and universal services to the public, including those who fund their own support.
