Description

NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, acting as lead commissioner for Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council have commissioned community health and well-being services for children and young people in Devon. Lot 1: Community Health and Well-being Services for Children and Young People in Devon – North, East, West Devon, South Devon and Torbay; Lot 2: Community Health, Well-being and SEND Support Services – Plymouth. This procurement was managed by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit Procurement Team on behalf of the Commissioners. NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, acting as lead commissioner for Torbay Council have commissioned community health and well-being services for children and young people in North, East, West Devon, South Devon and Torbay. A section 75 agreement was put in place between Devon County Council and NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group for the commissioning of some of the services in this procurement. The services included in this lot are detailed below. Emotional health and well-being: — child and adolescent community mental health services (CAMHs), — children looked after nursing service, — nursing and administration contribution to the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) processes, — children’s learning disability and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). SEND and children with additional needs and long term conditions: Nursing and community support to include: — community children’s nursing (incl. specialist school nursing, palliative care). Neuro disability and integrated therapies to include: — children’s speech and language therapy (incl. early years language consultant Torbay), — children’s occupational therapy (NHS and social care), — children’s physiotherapy, — specialist children’s assessment centres. NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, acting as lead commissioner for Plymouth City Council have commissioned community health, well-being and SEND Support Services for Plymouth. The services included in this lot are detailed below: — CAMHs (including severe learning disability), — children’s speech and language therapy, — public health nursing, — safeguarding and children looked after clinical and administrative staff, — clinical and administrative staff.
