Invitation to Quote: Supply and Installation of Outdoor Fitness Equipment and Associated Works Overview The contracting authority is seeking quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, surfacing, and post-installation inspection of outdoor fitness equipment and associated infrastructure. Scope of Works The project includes (but is not limited to): Fitness Equipment Supply & Installation • Magnetic Bells Pro (1 unit) • Surface Challenge 3 (1 unit) • Balance Board (1 unit) • Double Stairs (1 unit) • Flex Wheel (1 unit) • Bike (1 unit) • Associated safety signage Surfacing & Groundworks • Site excavation and disposal • Supply and installation of MOT Type 1 stone base with geotextile membrane • Supply and installation of bonded rubber mulch safety surfacing (40mm depth, including trench edging) Preliminaries & Site Setup • Temporary fencing supply, erection, hire, and dismantling • Skip hire for mixed waste • Storage container hire • Welfare facilities (Hotwash unit) • Telehandler hire Inspection • Independent RPII post-installation safety inspection by a qualified inspector Deliverables • Fully installed outdoor fitness equipment • Safety-compliant surfacing and groundwork preparation • Independent inspection report Submission Requirements Interested suppliers must provide: • A detailed quotation including unit rates and total costs • Proposed timeline for delivery and installation • Evidence of relevant experience in similar projects • Proof of insurance and health & safety compliance Evaluation Criteria Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of: • Cost • Technical compliance with requirements • Delivery and installation timescales • Track record and references Deadline for Submissions Quotations must be submitted by 23rd September 2025 to office@wheatonastonparishcouncil.gov.uk.
