Service framework contract for electronic hardware design, development and maintenance for the EuropeanSolar Test Installation (ESTI)

Description

This call for tender seeks to provide electronic hardware (and related software) support services in the Energy Efficiency Renewables Unit in the fields of laboratory automation, experimental installations and data acquisition; this includes measurement system development, maintenance and studies. The services required concern: (1) analysis of requirements, feasibility studies of electronic hardware development; (2) design, development and realisation of electronic equipment for testing and measurement of photovoltaic devices; (3) development and installation of systems (including software programs) for control of electronic hardware, including the data capture to computer; (4) preventive and corrective maintenance of hardware in existing experimental facilities used for control of the experiments and data acquisition. This includes visual inspections, cleaning, functional checks, calibrations,replacement of consumable parts; (5) production/updating of technical documentation. It is estimated that the overall volume of interventions amounts to about 200 person-days per year.
