Description

The National Library of Norway (NB) sends and collects material in order to build up its collection. NB sends loans and other material to libraries, companies, and other recipients in all of the country's municipalities, Svalbard and world wide. The types of material that are sent are, for example, letters books, films, placards, microfilm, hard disks and technical equipment. The tender is split into two framework agreement areas. Each framework agreement volume is estimated to be as follows: Number of items: — framework agreement area 1, letters: Approx. 6 000 letters a year; — framework agreement area 2, packages: Approx. 60 000 packages a year. This is an estimate. NB is not obliged to procure this volume. There can be an option to increase the volume in the contract period. A contract will be signed for 2 years, with an option for an extension for up to 2 years, 1 year at a time, i.e., a maximum duration of 4 years (2 + 1 + 1).
