Provision of Blockchain Subject Matter Expertise to the SEEBlocks.eu Project

SEEBLOCKS.eu aims to deliver a targeted demographic initiative to support European interests in the standardisation of the Blockchain/DLT domain. This 24-month project aims to build on the mature premises brought in by the consortium and implements a focussed workplan revolving around 3 pillars as set out below. • The delivery of an effective European Observatory of ICT standardisation of Blockchain/DLT standards. • The setup of a merit driven facility to provide financial support to 40 plus EU organisations/experts in the field. • The creation of an engaged knowledge sharing community supported by robust assets. This will create a stronger participation of EU stakeholders in the field as per the call topic leveraging on the stimulation of a rich discussion conducted at technical working group level to effectively bridge the gap between the Research Academia and Standardisation Communities and ultimately sustain the capacity building of Blockchain experts to funnel innovations into standard activities.
