Description
Tinn municipality will construct a new primary and secondary school with a multi-purpose building at Atrå. The aim of the competition is to enter into a contract with a turnkey contractor for the demolition of an existing building, as well as the engineering design services for and construction of a new school and multi-purpose building. The municipality has entered into a contract with LINK Arkitektur for the architect and landscape architect. The contract with LINK Arktitetur is based on NS 8401 and it will be transferred to the Turnkey Contractor. The chosen implementation model for the project is interaction for a turnkey contract. The project will be carried out in 2 phases, with phase 1 being a development phase with a contract based on NS 8401 and phase 2 being the implementation phase where the contract will be based on NS 8407. See the tender documentation, part 2 for further details on the implementation model and the contract terms. The first part of the project is the demolition of an existing secondary school, community centre and swimming pool, total approx. 3 500 m2. A separate environmental clearance report has been prepared. We would like the existing transformer station to be moved and envisage, therefore, that the current transformer building and air raid shelter can be demolished and be included as a part of the demolition project. The draft proposal that forms the basis for the competition is for approx. 1 900 m2 gross area and it will replace the current community centre with a multi-purpose building. The new building shall be connected to the current Atrå primary school, which was completed in 2011 and the existing before-and-after-school care building, so that the new site appears as a whole and integrated school for 1st — 10th years. In addition, options have been added that must be priced in submitted tenders, see the price sheet. See the tender documentation, part 2 for a complete description of the delivery, including the project implementation period, room and function programme, development status and the environment and energy strategy. It is a prerequisite for the implementation of the project that it can be carried out within the approved contract cost of 70 000 000 NOK. See the Finance Plan 2018-2021 on Tinn municipality's website. The project is subject to political approval in the municipal council. A draft of the tender documentation is attached to this qualification documentation as an annex. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to make smaller, unsubstantial alterations of the documentation prior to inviting the tenderers to submit tenders.
