Ocean Country Partnership Programme in Belize: Achieving IUCN Green Listing Phase 3

Description

JNCC is a delivery partner for the Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP), a UK government-led programme under the Blue Planet Programme. More information on the OCPP can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/blue-planet-fund/ocean-country-partnership-programme-ocpp. JNCC on behalf of the OCPP is working in collaboration with the Belize Government providing technical assistance focused on MPAs and marine biodiversity. This contract will support Belize's continued progress towards achieving IUCN Green List for its MPAs, building on the work delivered under Phase I and II funded by the OCPP. This contract will support the final steps required to ensure those involved in the Green Listing jurisdiction and community in Belize have the training and skills required to progress the formal Green List process from the end of this contract.
