Description
The Scottish Ministers, Marine Directorate is inviting a tender for a new set of trawl doors for MRV Scotia to undertake the internationally co-ordinated bottom trawl fish surveys.The survey follows a standardised trawl specification with is managed for ICES by the International Bottom Trawl Survey (IBTS) Working Group. The standard trawl door specified by IBTS for these surveys is the Morgere polyvalent trawl door (AA09C) with dimensions 3100m x 1800m with a total weight in air of 1100kg.
