Fire Hydrants & Dry Risers – Servicing, Maintenance, and Reactive Works

The University of Edinburgh is intending to go out to market within the next month to invite competitive tenders to establish contracting arrangements with a single supplier for a contract covering servicing, maintenance, and reactive works of fire hydrants and dry riser installations located throughout the University’s estate. It is intended that the contract will in place for an initial term of 2 years with two options to extend for periods of 1-year each (2+1+1). Interested parties should note their interest to this notice. Lot 1: The University of Edinburgh is intending to go out to market within the next month to invite competitive tenders to establish contracting arrangements with a single supplier for a contract covering servicing, maintenance, and reactive works of fire hydrants and dry riser installations located throughout the University’s estate. This contract will ensure that all the installations across the estate are maintained to the highest standard and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. The appointed supplier shall be CHAS certified (or equivalent), BAFE SP105 accredited (or equivalent) and all service and maintenance operatives/technicians shall be NSI Gold accredited (or equivalent). The intention is to use the Open Procedure to tender the contract, however, this may change depending on the volume of interest this Notice generates.
