Sandwell Falls Prevention - Improving Strength and Balance Service

Description

The aim of this service is to focus on primary prevention (i.e. preventing a first injurious fall) by improving on strength and balance, working collaboratively with relevant partners such as our in-house lifestyles service, Healthy Sandwell or with local NHS services for example, to provide falls awareness information and connect residents to reduce social isolation / loneliness. Lot 1: The Borough Council of Sandwell wishes to utilise the option to extend for Sandwell Falls Prevention - Improving Strength and Balance Service, from 19/07/2026 to 18/07/2027 and also modify the cost model to include uplift in National Insurance and inflation. The total contract duration will now be three years from 19/07/2024 to 18/07/2027. The Lifetime value of the contract will now be £246,940.97, with modifications be made from 01/04/2025.
