Sandwell Falls Prevention - Improving Strength and Balance Service.

Description

The aim of this service is to focus on primary prevention (i.e. preventing a first injurious fall) by improving on strength and balance, working collaboratively with relevant partners such as our in-house lifestyles service, Healthy Sandwell or with local NHS services for example, to provide falls awareness information and connect residents to reduce social isolation / loneliness. Lot 1: The aim of this service is to focus on primary prevention (i.e. preventing a first injurious fall) by improving on strength and balance, working collaboratively with relevant partners such as our in-house lifestyles service, Healthy Sandwell or with local NHS services for example, to provide falls awareness information and connect residents to reduce social isolation / loneliness. This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £238,827.19‬. This is considered an existing service that has been awarded to a new provider. The Contract length is 2 years, from 19/07/2024 to 18/07/2026 plus 1 year optional extension period.
