The Vale of Glamorgan Council has secured Open Space and Public Art Section106 funding to implement environmental improvements at the Murchfieldrecreation ground to refurbish the existing MUGA and tennis court and adjacentareas to provide a creative, imaginative, active recreational space providingopportunities for active recreation for the whole community with an artistic theme.The Works include the following activities.• Site clearance including removal of existing MUGA and tennis court fences• Rationalisation and extension of pavements including new kerbs andpavements including surface course• Installation of new fencing and sports equipment• Installation of features (furniture) manufactured by artist• Decoration of new surface as set out by artist
