The University of Sunderland is looking to engage with either one or a number of service providers for the provision of occupational health services, commencing approximately October 2020 for 2 years, with a possible 2 x 12-month extensions. We estimate around GBP 260 000 excluding VAT across three lots over 4 years, however there are no guarantees on spend levels, we reserve the right to spend a further 50 % of the anticipated budget, subject to changes across the University and legislative requirements for the duration of the award the tender has been split into lots 1, 2 and 3 and will cover a range of occupational health services for students (and occasionally staff), such as pre-employment assessments, immunisation programmes, blood tests, to additional ongoing support and related services, all in partnership with the University. Lot 1: Occupational health services — generic healthcare students (Faculty of Health,Sciences and Wellbeing). The University of Sunderland is looking to engage with either one or a number of service providers for the provision of occupational health services, commencing approximately October 2020 for 2 years, with a possible 2 x 12-month extensions. The tender has been split into lots 1, 2 and 3 and will cover a range of services from general occupational health services for students (and occasionally staff), such as pre-employment assessments, immunisation programmes, blood tests, to additional ongoing support and related services, all in partnership with the University. Students may require assessments at commencement of studies or work placements, and can continue to require occupational health assistance throughout their time at University. Therefore, there will be a higher demand at the start of new student intakes. We estimate around GBP 260 000 excluding VAT across all three lots over 4 years, however there are no guarantees on spend levels, we reserve the right to spend a further 50 % of the anticipated budget, subject to changes across the University and legislative requirements for the duration of the award. The top 3 shortlisted suppliers per lot will be invited to a presentation/demonstration approximately week commencing 10 August 2020 (unless they are unable to catch up).
