The service achieves this by repairing, adapting, and improving homes to ensure a safe, secure, and accessible environment. Key activities include: Facilitating adaptations, repairs, and maintenance. Offering preventative support, such as handy person services, hospital discharge assistance, and hoarding support. Providing advice on funding and accessing private adaptations. Referring or signposting to community services. The service was jointly procured by Ashford, Dover, and Folkestone & Hythe councils, with Dover District Council leading the process.
