Rhu Marina Repair

BACKGROUND: Rhu Marina is owned by Crown Estate Scotland; it is protected by two floating breakwaters, one south facing and one west facing. A topside and underwater survey of the west breakwater has identified areas in need of repair, primarily areas damaged by a vessel in inclement weather. TENDER OBJECTIVE: To supply breakwater repair services to rectify damage caused by a vessel collision, and other small repair and maintenance defects. PREFERRED TIMESCALE: All works to be completed by 30th April 2024 (WEATHER DEPENDENT). SPECIFICATION - SCOPE OF WORK: Full details of the breakwater repairs forming the scope of work for this tender are detailed Table 13-1 in the accompanying "Condition Report". The Condition Report contains all relevant background information and should be read in full in conjunction with this ITT. COMMENT: Rhu Marina is an operational site and managed on a day-to-day basis by ‘Boatfolk’ (see https://www.boatfolk.co.uk/rhu-marina-scotland). All operations and site visits will need to be coordinated with the Marina Manager, and all operations and site visits will need to comply with all site Health and Safety protocols.
