PSR Direct Award C - Provision of the Consultant led urology service on behalf of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHSFT Lot 1: Contract award notice for PSR Direct Award C for consultant led urology service fulfilled by existing provider for this service to South Tyneside and Sunderland NHSSFT. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice under Direct Award Process C. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. The commitment is for a 1 year contract with an annual value of £400,000. The contract period is 1/5/26 - 31/4/27. The Authority reserve the right to extend this contract for a maximum of 24 months subject to funding and / or need. As per the PSR direct award process C through assessment of key criteria the authority is satisfied that the existing provider is delivering the services to a sufficient standard and will continue to do so in this intended future award. No conflicts of interest have been declared. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period and will end Friday 24th February 2026
