Description

Tullyallen GWS wish to to upgrade the existing rising main and distribution pipe layout between the scheme reservoir and borehole pumping stations at Lynch’s Cross (450m approx.) The proposed works entail: • Replacing the existing 37mm and 50mm uPVC rising mains with a single 110mm OD HDPE SDR11 pipe • Replacing the existing 75mm uPVC distribution pipe between the Reservoir and Lynchs Cross with a 160mm OD HDPE SDR 17 pipe • Replacing the existing 100mm uPVC control cable duct with a new 150mm UPVC duct • Providing a 95m section of new 80mm OD HDPE along the public road • Transfer of 7no. existing connections from the existing 75mm distribution pipe onto the proposed 80mm and 160mm distribution pipes • Miscellaneous associated works including reinstatement of all excavated surface
