Description

The Council has a requirement to establish a single supplier, single lot contract for "Maintenance and Repair of Cleaning Equipment". The Council has a statutory duty to ensure all equipment used by employees is in safe working order and compliance with government legislation. Lot 1: The Council’s Facility Support Services (“FSS”) has over 3,315 pieces of cleaning equipment at approximately 356 sites throughout the Council including tub vacuum cleaners, rotary machine buffers and floor polishers, carpet shampooers, handheld scrubber driers, ride on scrubber driers and toucan electrifying water sanitising machines. Council sites include primary schools, secondary schools, Additional Support Needs (“ASN”), nurseries. Family learning centres, community centres, libraries and office buildings throughout the geographical area of the Council.
