Description

The Council sought proposed projects that offer online interventions that will meet the needs of young people between 11 and 18 years old with moderate emotional difficulties in a safe, confidential space. It was asked that the Service would use appropriately qualified counsellors and include 1-1 counselling and group/ peer support. The main aim of the project should be around offering emotional support to secondary aged young people with the aim of increasing emotional resilience, developing positive coping mechanisms, building strong relationships and increasing protective factors for those assessed with a moderate level of need in order to prevent their escalation to greater/more significant difficulties.
