Description
OJEU reference 2015 - 072363 Lancaster City Council owns operates and manages Salt Ayre Sports Centre and is seeking to appoint a suitable development partner to develop new/existing facilities and services that best fulfil the evidenced need of local residents and visitors to the area. The tender opportunity is for design, build and fund elements of any potential project and does not include for any operational/management aspects of any facility and or service. The current operation is managed by the Council and this will continue past the completion of any of the agreed proposals with the successful development partner. The Council intends to implement a phased approach to works under this contract. It is envisaged that each phase will be a stand-alone project on a specified area of the sports centre. It is hoped that this will allow areas unaffected by individual phases to continue operating and minimise disruption to the day to day operation of the centre. Additionally the success of a development phase for existing or new facilities will help to inform the decision on future investment in the Salt Ayre Sports Centre. & amp; lt; p> & lt; br>
