Framework Agreement for the Procurement of Tyres for Vehicles

Kristiansand kommune v/ingeniørvesenet (Kristiansand municipality c/o the Engineering Department), will enter into two framework agreements for the following groups: — tyres for passenger vehicles and goods vans; — tyres for lorries, industrial vehicles and tractors. A separate evaluation will take place for each group. See the appendix ‘Price Form tyres for vehicles’. If a one tenderer is awarded both of the groups, one framework agreement will be entered into for both of the groups. The purpose of the contract is to safeguard that the contracting authority, in accordance with laws and regulations, achieves a cost-efficient and rational purchase of tyres for the municipality's vehicles and equipment, and the associated services. The framework agreement concerns the products in the appendix ‘Price form 'tyres for vehicles’, however, the form is not necessarily exhaustive. The contracting authority must cover their needs within the individual groups through the selected tenderer. It is possible to submit tenders for one or both of the groups. See the appendix ‘Price form tyres for vehicles’. Lot 1: The framework agreement has a two (2) year duration. The contracting authority will have the unilateral right to extend the contract for an addition 1 year + 1 year. If the contract shall not be extended, written notification must be received at last 3 months prior to the expiry of the contract period. Kristiansand kommune places emphasis on ‘green procurements’ and in this regard, the tenderer shall highlight their environmental awareness through any participating in environmental labelling schemes, internal procedures etc.
