The project ‘Horten Clean Inner Port’ (‘Horten Ren Indre Havn’) aims at reducing negative ecological effects of the environment in Horten Inner Port and preventing spreading of environmental poisons This must be achieved by covering areas of the seabed in Horten Inner Port with clean masses in an area of approx. 460 000 m2. Dredging for restricted areas must be conducted, in order to ensure adequate sailing depth. The dredged deposits shall be disposed at a designated seabed area or at an alternative disposal site approved by the contracting authority The works shall be initiated in the beginning of 2019 and concluded by 2020. The contract is implemented as an open tender contest in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations parts I and III, above the EEA threshold value. The work is to be carried out as an execution contract in accordance with NS 8405.
