Call for Tender for the Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of Ice Storage and Delivery Systems in two of BIM’s Ice Production Plants

BIM wishes to invite tenders for the Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of ice storage and delivery systems in two of BIM’s existing ice production plants; Union Hall and Castletownbere. The primary purpose of this tender is to replace the existing ice storage and delivery systems in two of BIM’s ice plants. The current systems are old, inefficient, and energy-intensive, and no longer meet operational or environmental performance expectations. BIM requires modern, energy-efficient, and reliable storage and delivery systems that are fit for current and forecasted ice sales to vessels. The new systems should enhance operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and ensure the long-term sustainability of ice production and supply at both facilities. BIM estimates that the expenditure on the Goods to be covered by the proposed Goods Contract and any subsequent maintenance may amount to between €180,000 to €210,000 (excl. VAT) over the Term. However, Tenderers should note that this is a maximum figure, and should they wish to achieve a competitive advantage their bid should be priced accordingly.
