Description
This project will deliver the refurbishment of the existing buildings into commercial Office Suites creating interesting and innovative spaces which will attract occupiers to Dalmarnock. The refurbishment of the building has been designed to be subdivided into five standalone business studios within the existing structure — offering total of 3 800 m2 of business space and up to 500 jobs. The expectation is that delivery of all five units shall be undertaken in a phased manner. This project (Phase 2) will concentrate on the construction and delivery of the first two units — delivering approximately 1 365 m2 (14 690 ft2) of net lettable office space, across ground and mezzanine levels. The phase 2 construction contract will also include formation of the site access, parking and landscaping for the first two units. Should additional funding become available to CGDL prior to the contract being let CGDL may opt to add an element of work to facilitate the remaining three units. The buyer seeks a design and build contractor to complete technical design and the refurbishment of the building to deliver the first two commercial units within the existing building, together with associated parking road access from French St. ESPD/Selection based on a restricted procedure. The value of this project is expected to be in the region of GBP 3.1 million.
