Provision of a Business Solutions Platform

Description

The RSA, which is the agency in Ireland responsible for reducing death and injuries on Irish roads, is seeking a Contractor for the delivery of a Business Solutions Platform comprised of a number of specified components, which must be capable of being further developed and used by RSA (or by any third party appointed by RSA) across a variety of business processes. The successful Tenderer will be required to initially deliver these components configured as a full business Solution for the Driver Testing process in the RSA, but the components must be re-usable in the context of other business processes in the RSA. The main business aspects identified are: • Enable Service – the creation and delivery of new or improved services and processes; • Serve Customer – the day to day function of the RSA’s services to its customers; and • Manage Customer – caters for customers who have already engaged with the RSA and now require additional assistance. The aspiration is to enable the transformation of the business services that are supported by complex, sequenced processes to a model where the RSA has a set of multi service platforms where customers can in the majority of cases access the required services in a real time, zero touch and self-care approach. The required solution must include the following reusable components: • An RSA wide portal for customer engagement • Login and authentication capability • Eligibility capability • Scheduling capability • Customer communications capability • Payments and refunds solution • Business intelligence and reporting capability • Workflow engine The reusable components listed above are expected to service the wider organisation. It is mandatory that all components are reusable to other parts of the RSA’s operations. In the first instance it is expected a new integrated solution for Driver Testing based on specific business requirements is delivered.
