Description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Coventry and Warwickshire, intend to award a contract for the provision of Specialist Community Gynaecology Service. Lot 1: This notice serves as the intention to award a contract under the Competitive Process.<br/><br/>The successful provider will deliver a Specialist Community Gynaecology Service.<br/><br/>This service is an existing service and has been awarded to an existing provider.<br/><br/>As a result of this Competitive Process a contract will be awarded to the successful provider for an initial period of 3 years (01st October 2026 – 30th September 2029), with the Commissioner having the option to extend for up to a further 2 Years (01st October 2029 – 30th September 2031). It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Competitive Process will have a value of £2,489,738 for the contract period, including any exercised contract extensions. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight 30th July 2026. Any representations should be sent via the messaging portal within the Atamis project.<br/><br/>This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.<br/><br/>The award decision-makers are NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board. The decision to award the contract was made by NHS Coventry and Warwickshire integrated Care Board's Governing Body. There were no declared conflicts of interest of individuals making the award decision.<br/><br/>The Basic Selection Criteria scoring methodology was either Pass/Fail or For Information.<br/><br/>The Key Criteria were scored sub-weighted questions, as follows:<br/>Quality and Innovation – 40.00%<br/>Value – 04.00%<br/>Value – Pass/Fail<br/>Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability – 20.00%<br/>Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice – 26.00%<br/>Social value – 10.00%<br/><br/>SWGP Ltd passed the Basic Selection Criteria and received the highest combined overall weighted Key Criteria score out of 100.00%. As a result, they are awarded the contract, subject to agreement.
