Provision of Manned Guarding Services

Notice of extension. By contract award notice dated 21/05/2021 with OJEU reference 2021/S 098-260133, the procurement process to appoint a supplier to provide the above referenced services was abandoned for the reasons set out in that notice. Scottish Power UK plc will soon commence a new procurement exercise to appoint a supplier to provide the services. Scottish Power UK plc has an ongoing requirement for the services pending completion of the new procurement process. This notice is in respect of the extension of the existing contract pending completion of the new procurement process. Lot 1: Services to provide Security Manned Guarding, Alarm Receiving Centre and Pass Office Services that will cover the sites and roles within the operational requirements. In addition to the operational requirements, in respect of manned guarding duties, there is also a requirement of the successful contractor to undertake additional duties at any of the ScottishPower premises or sites in the UK and Republic of Ireland at short notice and for an undetermined period of time to cover unforeseen emergencies and operational requirements.
