Description

1.Scope of the Project This tender exercise is to establish a Framework for the supply of Independent Living Products and Services and has been split into the following lots (“Lots”): Lot 1 Equipment, including living room aids, mobility aids, bedroom and dressing aids, kitchen aids, bathroom aids and pressure and positioning aids. Lot 2 Community Loan Store Managed Services provides various types of equipment on loan to individuals who need assistance to live independently at home. Lot 3 Aggregate lot, facilitates the provision to permit Participating Authorities to tailor bespoke products and service specification to accommodate their requirements and contractually commit in advance to purchasing a specified value and/or volume of their requirements Lot A – Technology Enable Care – this lot is specifically for use by non-NHS organisations only. Lot A is for the use of technology to provide health and care services to people in their own homes to live independently and safely. 2. Term HTE proposes to enter into an Open Framework where the first Framework in a scheme of frameworks is for a Term of 2 years with the Successful Tenderer(s) (Successful Tenderer(s)). The Framework shall be re-opened to Tenderers in accordance with the timetable set out in table 2.2 below. The maximum period shall be no longer than 8 years in line with section 49 of the Procurement Act 2023.
