CMAL0250 Colintraive Outfall Works

Description

A new drainage system was provided when the new marshalling and car parking areas were constructed as part of the upgrade works at the ferry terminal in 2018. The new outfall headwall built as part of the upgrade is completely buried by beach material during winter storms. The proposed works are being undertaken in order to remove the existing outfall headwall and construct a new outfall further down the beach. This will prevent the outfall being buried and will ensure the integrity of the drainage system in years to come. A one off contract of drainage works to be carried out at Collintraive terminal.
