The ultimate purpose of this project is to enable FSA radiological risk assessors to provide food safety risk assessments to inform decisions by FSA and Environment Agency risk managers on whether to approve permit applications for premises such as hospitals, research facilities, new nuclear new builds including SMR's and waste disposal sites which discharge radionuclides into the aquatic freshwater environment.
