Description
NHS West and North London Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking to appoint a Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisation, or group to deliver the North Kensington Recovery Wellbeing Support Lead role. This service forms part of the North Kensington Recovery Programme, which provides health and wellbeing support for communities affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Service Overview The appointed provider will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a community-based wellbeing offer, delivered through a grant-funded model and grounded in strong local relationships with Grenfell-affected communities. The role includes: • Designing and managing the allocation and distribution of funding to community-based wellbeing services • Supporting the development of clear and effective referral pathways • Promoting the wellbeing offer through trusted community networks • Ensuring services are high quality, culturally relevant, accessible, and responsive to changing need The service will be delivered in line with principles of trauma-informed practice and community-led recovery, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across the VCFS, NHS, and wider local system. Provider Requirements The ICB is seeking an organisation or partner organisations that can demonstrate: • Strong local connections and trusted relationships within North Kensington or similar experience • Experience of working with Grenfell-affected communities, including survivors and bereaved families or similar experience • A track record of delivering inclusive, culturally competent services • Experience of partnership working across VCFS, health, and statutory services • Organisational capability and experience to manage grant programmes and service oversight The contract will be for 3 years with a total contract value of £900,000. The start date of the contract will be 23 October 2026. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 as a Light Touch process, utilising a single-stage procedure. The ICB is utilising an electronic tendering system (“E-Tendering Portal”) to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
