Parking Contract - Market Engagement

Milton Keynes City Council (the "Council") is inviting Suppliers to participate in informal market engagement discussions on 19th March 2026 at Milton Keynes City Council Civic Offices, as part of its preparation for the next Parking Contract commencing in 2027. The Council is interested in the market’s views at this early stage so that the next parking services contract is fully aligned to the authorities’ wider strategic aims, delivers value for money, efficiencies and promotes the latest innovation and technology in the sector. The new service provider will be required to deliver a singular solution, incorporating the enforcement, Notice processing systems/functions and Technology over a 5-10 year contract period. Whist we are forming our preferred delivery structure of the new contract; we are open to discuss these options with the sector to ensure the various partner or supply chain options are explored. Our vision is for the Parking Services to be a flagship in service delivery by using the newest technology, being customer-focussed, transparent, robust in enforcement and efficient in overall service provision. This market engagement event is open to Suppliers who may wish to be involved in the Tender process, there is no commitment on either party at this stage, and all discussions will be confidential.
