Queen’s University Belfast require the supply and installation of a CMM Room at the Factory of the Future, Global Point Newtownabbey. The room will house advanced metrology equipment including 2x co-ordinate measurement machines, a CT scanner and benchtop equipment. Consideration of the environment is required for the correct functioning and optimum measurement accuracy and precision of each machine, each item requiring control of temperature and humidity. The space will also provide a clean and stable environment where measurements will be reliable and traceable to metrology standards.<br />The room must be designed and built in a manner that will allow the safe operation of the equipment within it’s required airflow, temperature and humidity parameters.<br />
