Expression of Interest from Independent Service Providers for appointment to a multi-vendor framework agreement panel for the Provision of Contingency Hospital Based Ophthalmic Surgery

Description

The National Screening Service (NSS) part of the HSE is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified independent service providers for the provision of contingency hospital based ophthalmic surgery ‘the Service’ in support of Diabetic RetinaScreen - The National Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Programme ‘the Programme’. This will be a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon provided service requirement. The contingency services under this multi vendor framework agreement are sought under two lots. Lot 1: Expressions of Interest (EOI) from independent service providers for the provision of hospital based contingency ophthalmic surgery in support of Diabetic RetinaScreen - The National Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Programme Lot 2: Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified groups/consortiums capable of sourcing and providing additional surgical capacity within hospital settings i.e, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons and support staff to work in established hospital settings within ROI. Note: Registration with the Medical Council of Ireland in the Specialist Division of Ophthalmic Surgery will be a mandatory required. The HSE/NSS does not guarantee that any minimum level of service will be procured as a result of this process.Furthermore Diabetic RetinaScreen is a demand led service and cannot provide a guarantee in terms of Diabetic Retinopathy Programme Referrals.
