Description
Work requirement at Cwmbach Wetlands, Aberdare. 1. Ground preparation for pathways, the formation of a new path (along an existing informal route) and construction and finish of path using type 1 stone with 0-6mm topping, path is approximately 700mx1.5m. 2. Construction of Pontoon/Viewing platform with fencing, over the wetlands at an agreed point off an RCT pathway, approximately 4mX5m in size. This will be situated in standing water, so will require long lasting materials. 3. Include and follow a traffic management plan (for walkers on pathway) when undertaking the works. As this site is bio-diverse and a highly sensitive environmental location, contractors will be required to follow a combined construction ecological management plan and ecological mitigation enhancement and management plan that will be supplied by Down to Zero Ltd.
